Proper aftercare is essential to soothe the skin, reduce the risk of irritation, and achieve the best results from your waxing treatment.
First 24–48 Hours – What to Avoid:
No hot showers or baths, saunas, steam rooms, or swimming. Stick to lukewarm water.
Avoid sun exposure and sunbeds, as freshly waxed skin is more sensitive and prone to burning or
pigmentation.
No exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating, which can irritate open follicles.
Avoid perfumed products, deodorants, lotions, or tanning products on the treated area.
Do not exfoliate the area during the first 48 hours.
Skin Care Tips:
Keep the area clean and dry. Use a gentle, fragrance free cleanser if needed.
Wear loose-fitting clothing to allow your skin to breathe and prevent friction.
Apply a soothing product such as aloe vera gel or a post-wax lotion recommended by your therapist to
calm and hydrate the skin.
If any redness or bumps appear, apply a cold compress or use a cooling, antiseptic cream.
Ongoing Care:
Exfoliate gently after 2–3 days to help prevent ingrown hairs (2–3 times per week).
Moisturise daily to keep skin soft and healthy between waxing appointments.
Avoid shaving between waxes, as this disrupts the hair growth cycle and can lead to coarser regrowth.
Regular Waxing:
Book your next appointment every 4–6 weeks for optimal results. Regular waxing encourages finer,
sparser regrowth over time.
