manicure
Following a home-care routine will ensure your manicure will last and keep your nails and hands healthy and strong.

  • Apply Nurture Oil daily to cuticles to keep them soft and moisturised.

  • Apply moisturiser to hands, after washing to lubricate and soften the skin.

  • Wear rubber gloves when washing up, doing household chores and gardening.

  • Keep nails at a moderate length to avoid breakages and splits.

  • Do not bite your nails.

  • Do not use nails as tools.

  • Use non-acetone nail polish remover.

  • Always apply a base coat under polish to protect the nails and prevent them becoming stained.

  • Top coat polished nails to prevent chipping.

  • Have regular manicures to maintain healthy nails and hands.

  • Use a 180 grit file on rough edges or split nails.

  • Eat healthy and drink plenty of water. The health and strength of nails depends on a good supply of protein, iron, calcium, potassium, vitamin B and iodine. A well balanced diet contains all the nutrients essential for good health.

  • Mental files should be avoided as they create heat in the nails which dries out the natural moisture and weakens them.

  • Every 2-4 weeks get a maintenance manicure.
