To get the most benefit from your massage and support your body’s natural healing response, please follow the aftercare guidelines below:
Immediately After Your Massage:
Drink plenty of water or herbal teas to stay hydrated, support detoxification, and reduce post-massage fatigue.
Avoid alcohol, caffeine, fizzy drinks, and smoking for at least 24 hours to allow your body to fully benefit from the treatment.
Eat light meals for the rest of the day to avoid burdening the digestive system.
Rest and relax — avoid strenuous activity or exercise for the remainder of the day.
Keep warm, as your body may be more sensitive to cold following a treatment.
Avoid heat treatments (hot baths, saunas, steam rooms) as these may intensify the detoxifying effects and could cause dizziness or nausea.
Light stretching or a warm bath may help relieve any muscle soreness.
Possible Reactions (24–48 Hours After Treatment):
It’s normal to experience some short-term effects as your body adjusts:
Mild headaches
Dizziness or light-headedness
Muscle soreness or stiffness
Feeling emotional or fatigued
Increased urination or bowel movements
Runny nose or increased mucus
Disturbed sleep
Nausea or thirst
Occasional bruising (especially after deeper work or trigger point therapy)
These are signs your body is processing and rebalancing — they typically pass within 24–48 hours.
Ongoing Care:
Wait at least 7 days between massage appointments to allow the body to fully respond and benefit.
Regular massages can support stress relief, muscle health, and overall wellbeing.
